Inspired by Horses is an extension of the work of Maureen Gallatin. As a counselor/advisor/consultant, she is often able to put situations into perspective and help chart a course forward. As a writer/editor, she can help you put your thoughts into words that communicate your ideas.

Professionals
As a professional (trainer, rider, equine massage therapist, etc.) in the horse industry, you may be trying to figure out how to grow your business. Do you advertise, and if so how? Do you travel and do clinics? Do you take more training? Do you need a website ? Often the difference in a business working isn't your professional talent. It's connecting with the clients who can use your services. Maureen can help you on an individual consultation basis, and also through materials and workshops that will be available through the Inspired by Horses Professional Guild.

Individuals or Farm Owners
As a rider or horse owner, you may be trying to put the pieces of your experience or program together. Often people will have taken lessons with a variety of trainers and they need help figuring out how to put their training or riding program all together. They need perspective. Sometimes a phone call, series of calls, or even a visit with Maureen has made all the difference.

Life and horsemanship often interact and it helps to have someone to sort that out with you. Decisions involving horses frequently have relationship, emotional, or spiritual elements. Sometimes you need someone outside of your situation to talk to about the decision, for instance, to change trainers or to sell or buy a horse. Sometimes there's no decision pending, but it would help to talk with someone who understands that horse people process life through their horses.

Issues of confidence and fear are big, and Maureen has an extensive background in working with rider confidence (book on riding confidence coming out in late 2008).

Maureen is often able to come alongside as consultant, counselor and horseman to help you to make sense of your situation and to plot a course that is workable for you.

Writers, trainers
You may have an idea about writing a book or doing a video, and need to talk with someone to find out if your idea is viable and how to go about it. Maureen's background in the publishing world can help you chart a course.
