If you get the chance to ride with Sue or attend a clinic she's teaching, take advantage of it. She's not only a gifted teacher, she's a genuinely nice person, and has well honed her craft. You “can't not” learn something valuable while you're there. At a previous clinic, I had heard her tell people to send their “inner critic” on a trip. I often see it when someone is first on a diet. It's certainly not that I wanted to look down my nose at anyone.
